The Business Board Institute will guide you through the process of building and leading an outside board to help drive company growth and achieve a higher level of business success. Establishing an outside board is one of the most valuable strategies that can be employed in a business. Our Business Board Advisors will walk you, step by step, through the following processes:
· Defining your Company's needs
· Structuring your board
· Identifying and interviewing prospective board members
· Preparing for and facilitating board meetings
· Choosing between a Board of Advisors or Directors
The Business Board Institute is made up of two phases: Phase One will include an eight hour workshop, followed by a personal consultation with your company at your place of business or another convenient location. You will then decide if you wish to pursue the implementation of a board.
At the end of Phase One, you will make one of four decisions:
1. I’m not ready for a Business Board.
2. We will create a Business Board on our own.
3. I want to do a trial board with the support of the Goering Center.
4. I’m ready to implement a Business Board now with the support of the Goering Center.
Phase Two will assist you in organizing your Business Board by developing a personalized plan for your organization. This process will include identifying board member candidates, selecting board members, and implementing your board.
Enrollment Fee: Your company's enrollment fee for Phase One of this institute is $650 for the President/CEO, plus $150 for each additional participant. We suggest no more than 2 additional participants. The fee for Phase Two will be determined by your specific needs.
