The mission of the Lindner College of Business Career Services office is to assist both undergraduate and graduate business students in choosing a career and searching for internships or full-time positions. To support you in your search, we offer a variety of resources that provide the leads and information you need to manage a successful transition into the real world of business.

We create opportunities within and beyond the classroom to support you by offering student support services such as:

• Resources to create a résumé and individual résumé critiques;
• Mock interviews;
• Resources to create a cover letter and individual cover letter critiques;
• Sample job interview questions, resources and tips;
• One-on-one career coaching appointments;
• Job search advice and CareerLeader assessment; and
  
• Professional development workshops.

Business students also have access to the following employment search tools:

• Job Postings: Every day we receive and post announcements from employers who need interns and part- and full-time employees.   
• Bizjournals: Thinking of relocating to another city and want information on local businesses and opportunities there? Bizjournal’s publication resource gives you complete access to digital replicas of their publications in 40 markets.
• Interactive Book of Lists: The Book of Lists is a valuable resource for conducting research and building your target list of companies for a job search.
• Job Choices 2012: Learn how to market yourself to employers with NACE’s Job Choices magazine for business students, now in digital format. 
• FindTheBest: Find unbiased, data-driven comparison engine. It organizes and presents data in a consumer-friendly format so that you can make quick and informed decisions based on what’s important to you.
