The Finance Department at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business contributes to the creation and dissemination of leading-edge knowledge, analysis and practice in Finance, Real Estate and Insurance & Risk Management by conducting high-impact original research and by providing rigorous and relevant instruction in undergraduate, masters and PhD programs.
The Department seeks to be a source of high-impact scholarly research on important issues in Finance, Real Estate, Insurance, and Risk Management. Our goal is to consistently produce research that appears in the best journals in our fields.

The Carl H. Lindner III Center for Insurance and Risk Management seeks to understand and improve how economies, enterprises and individuals manage risk. The Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) program provides an undergraduate major and minor to prepare students for a variety of insurance and risk management careers.
