Join us for a March social event showcasing innovative business models.  In a casual and fun environment, our intrapreneurial panel will share their stories of taking a startup to the next level and how the support from within their businesses and families helped propel their ideas.

After our discussion, you’ll have a chance to stay and socialize with other Goering Center members and guests, enjoying great food and spirits.

Meet Our Moderator:

Dominic Franchini, Vice President & Market Leader for HORAN

Recently chosen to be a member of the Cincinnati Business Courier's 2015 Forty Under 40 Award, Dominic has worked through many roles at HORAN in a short period of time.  Since joining the firm in 2004, he was promoted to Vice President in 2014 and named the Cincinnati Market Leader in 2015.  His accomplishments at HORAN include creating the Medicare Service Department and establishing himself as an expert in Health Care Reform. He regularly leads seminars for HORAN clients. Additionally he has spoken at many events on the topic. 

Dominic is an active Board Member in the European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) and a graduate of Furman University.

Jake Roush, Co-Founder & CEO at Braxton Brewing Company

Jake leads Braxton’s strategic vision and execution. He’s primarily responsible for bringing the “Taproom of the Future” to life and is focused on discovering unique ways technology can enhance the beer drinking experience. Founded in 2014, Jake led the company to become the most funded brewery project on the popular crowd funding website Kickstarter by raising $71,000+ in just 30 days. Then just 9 months after opening their doors, Beer Advocate named Braxton Brewing Company one of the Top 33 breweries to open in America in 2015. Jake spent the past 4 years at ExactTarget where he led partnerships and strategic alliances as the company grew dramatically resulting a successful IPO in 2012, and acquisition by Salesforce.com for $2.7B in 2013. Jake earned his undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Andy Nielsen, President & CEO of Everything But The House (EBTH)

Andy’s drive, dedication to innovation and his willingness to take risks have helped grow the company by over 400% in the past three years. He is a 2014 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner. Prior to EBTH, Andy was Director of Acquisitions and Marketing for his first business, Riverstone Development Group. Andy holds an MBA from Xavier University and a BA from Miami University.

Will Housh, Founder and CEO at HVAC.com

As a third-generation leader of a local heating and cooling contracting company, Will’s passion for entrepreneurship and innovation led him to launch his ecommerce business, HVAC.com, in 2013. In the past five years alone, Will’s ecommerce business has totaled over $50 million dollars in sales and has served hundreds of thousands of customers. The company has been recognized in the INC 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America three times and has been honored as one of Cincinnati’s best places to work. Will and his company have been featured in publications such as Forbes, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, Huffington Post, The Next Web, Contracting Business and NBC News. Will is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Back2Back Ministries, an international Christian non-profit focused on care and sustainable development for orphans and vulnerable children around the world.
